Cheshire wedding photography (Emma + James)

May 28, 2013

Emma and James were married on a truly northern stormy, rainy day in Cheshire, and I really feel that their lovely wedding proves it’s not even remotely a disaster when the weather plays up, as couples often fear. I actually completely love the dramatic clouds and skies and the shots of them huddled up under a brolly. From a photographic point of view those storm clouds were a total gift and I think the grey looked beautiful next to all the greenery, in many ways nicer than blue skies would have done. In any case, Emma and James are such happy, easy-going and sunny personalities and provided their very own sunshine – we didn’t need any more! Such a lovely couple and a really happy day that I loved sharing with them. Here are some of my favourites…

Love your work, Anna! You’re a true inspiration! Your images remind me of those by the great Matin Parr. You really do have a wonderful talent.
