A couple of months ago I travelled down to London to do some product photography for the website and promotional materials of the fantastic new personalisation company, Pattern & Press. Their personalised gift and homeware is absolutely beautiful and I really think they’ll be a huge success. There are a lot of gift personalisation companies around but I’ve always found that many of them can lean towards looking a little garish, cheap or tacky. Pattern & Press is a real breath of fresh air – their focus on clean, delicious design, understated personalisation, meticulous attention to detail, the highest quality materials, gorgeous fabrics, luxurious papers, beautiful typography, scrumptious packaging… all combine to create an absolutely beautiful range of luxury, bespoke products.
I thoroughly enjoyed this shoot – the ladies who run the company are absolutely lovely and a real pleasure to work with, and the products were a lot of fun to photograph. It was also really rewarding and satisfying to take photographs for a website and to see my work displayed in situ in the public domain. Plus they have solved some of my Christmas present dilemmas! The only problem was that I wanted to walk away with half the stock… Have a look at their website – you’ll probably want to do the same!
