Manchester Town Hall wedding photography (Paul + Jonny)

September 6, 2013

It’s my great pleasure to share with you the wedding of the gorgeous Paul and Jonny. When Paul first got in touch about me shooting their big day, we clicked instantly, ended up gassing and giggling away on the phone for ages, and I knew from the outset this would be one of my favourite weddings of the year.

It was a short but very sweet day for me – Jonny and Paul didn’t want the whole day covering, just 4 hours to cover a little pre-ceremony get-together with their parents, the ceremony itself at the wonderful Manchester Town Hall, their couple shots and a few at the reception in a nearby bar. They allowed me plenty of time for their couple shots so we were able to pop in the car and head to Castlefield as well as taking some in the the Town Hall, which was great, Castlefield is such a great location and the proper old heart of Manchester.

It was a beautiful day – the way these guys look at each other is what true romance is made of, and the love for them amongst their family and friends was so visible and overwhelming. I’m actually considering trying to adopt Paul’s mum and dad as a second set of parents – just the sweetest couple ever!

On a personal note, this was a particularly special day for me as it was the first civil partnership I’ve photographed, and I truly couldn’t have wished to share it with a lovelier couple than Paul and Jonny. They were so much fun to spend time with, so completely in love with each other and I felt so proud and privileged to be able to share their amazing wedding day with them. Thanks so much Paul and Jonny for having me with you and for making my job so easy that day… I loved every minute.

    Our darling Anna,
We’re often humbled by the amazing people that surround us in our life. It therefore fitting that fate brought someone as fabulous as you into our circle to be a part of our special day.

Your talent is overwhelming and can only be shadowed by your sweet charm and loveliness. You’re a very special gal and we feel so lucky to have shared our day with you.

With lots of love, thank you.

Thank you for making an exeptional day even more special Anna. It is a wonderful pictorial diary of the occasion. You were a gem and totally non-intrusive. We would definitely adopt you too! Love Helen and Jay.
