Preston, Lancashire family + wedding anniversary photography (Cat, Ste + Lucas)

I’m so excited to share these photos as this was such a special and unique celebration with some absolutely amazing people that I will always remember.
Cat and Ste celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary with a big party in their back garden, complete renewal of vows and new rings, a yurt, pizza oven, screening of their wedding film (it was the first time that their son Lucas had seen it and seeing a six year old boy moved to tears… well… let’s say he wasn’t the only one!), live music and heaps of kids, fun and laughter. They hadn’t really had their wedding properly documented in pictures, so decided they wanted someone (lucky me!) to come along and photograph their anniversary.
Together with Lucas, they are such extremely close, warm, loving people who absolutely radiate how much they adore each other and their boy. They are quite simply just those kind of people who make you feel good to be around. I came home that day with a really warm fuzzy feeling, knowing I’d been really lucky to be part of something so special.
As an aside, if you are in any way interested in photography, design, interiors, food, craft and a whole lot of other fun stuff, do check out Cat’s wonderful blog – The Triple Triangle – it’s ace! That lady oozes style and her eye for design is amazing. Plus her house is pretty much the stuff my dreams are made of.
Anyway, massive congratulations to Cat and Ste, and indeed Lucas, for so many happy years together. You are very special dudes and I was honoured to be there that day. I do hope our paths cross again in the not too distant future.
