Yorkshire family photographer {Hannah, Ryan & Zachary}

Hannah and Ryan’s wedding was the very last wedding I photographed when I stopped shooting weddings to focus on families a few years ago. For this reason (but not just this reason!) they really do hold a special place in my heart, and couldn’t have wished for my wedding career to have ended on a more wonderful note with more wonderful people. I’m so glad my final memories of that special job were with them.

Fast forward a couple of years and beautiful Zachary joined the family, so I was honoured to be invited back to photograph the little dude at 9 months old. He’s such a happy, smiley baby, with such incredible facial expressions! Hannah wanted me to capture the happiness and love they have for him, and said, “The way you take photos creates such a powerful story and when looking back at our photos from the wedding it brings back all the emotions and feelings. This is something I’d love from photos of Zachary. It would be great to look back on when he’s older.”

Hannah also explained that she’s the main photo taker and loves photos of them all together but nobody takes them, so I was over the moon to be able to rectify this for them!

The shoot was a total delight and full of so many precious memories – funny faces, nose candles, arm rolls, eyelashes, messy dinner time, splashing in the bath, first teeth, and finally falling asleep in mum and dad’s arms…. Here are a few of my favourites….
